KleinPod: Podcasting in Klein ISD

This is the story of KleinPod, a grant written by two teachers in the Klein ISD, a school district located in the northwest area of Houston, Texas. Vanessa Miller and Stacey Pope teach in KISD at the Vistas High School Program, an alternative public high school of choice for students who in danger of not graduating from high school. In addition to being the district’s only School of Choice, Vistas was the first Klein school to open with 1:1 technology, which means that each teacher and student has constant access to a computer, digital content, educational software, and digital authoring tools.
